Principal's Message
At Thomas Jefferson Middle School, our primary goal is to create an environment where students deeply value education and embrace their roles as lifelong learners. Guided by our motto, "Today we learn, tomorrow we lead," our dedicated teachers work tirelessly to inspire every student to reach their full potential by offering a challenging yet nurturing atmosphere. Through diverse instructional strategies, our educators tailor their teaching to meet our student body's varied learning styles and intelligences.
In addition to academic excellence, we are committed to shaping our students’ character. We emphasize self-respect, self-confidence, independence, commitment, and responsibility—essential for success.
Thomas Jefferson Middle School students engage in a comprehensive academic program that includes English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. We also offer a robust elective program with options in STEM, Culinary Arts, band, strings, vocal/general music, and art. To prepare our students for a multicultural world, we require exposure to a World Language, with choices in Spanish and French. Additionally, our intramural athletic program provides further opportunities for student involvement.
To strengthen relationships between students and teachers, we offer a variety of after-school clubs and activities, encouraging meaningful connections and fostering a strong school community.
